Street lights were no match to large falling trees. |
Some utility poles didn't fall completely to the ground, but were still a problem. Small cars could drive under these easily enough, but many vehicles couldn't. Poles with large phone cables on them, like these, often fell as a group. |
This street is really blocked. Just after the hurricane housing sales were way down until things were straitened out. Note the realtor sign on the right. |
This large oak on Clark Avenue blocked both sides of the median. |
